Tron's First Puppy Class

Last night me & Ru took Tron to his first ever puppy class. It was a bit of a mission getting there but we finally walked in about 20mins late. There were a lot of pretty well behaved dogs sitting with their owners round the edges of a big hall. There was one other boxer there with similar markings to Tron, but red. We sat down next to a very nervous looking dog as the teacher was explaining how to teach your dog to sit.

Now, Tron knows a lot of stuff already. He can already sit, lie down, stay, drop, speak & hi-5 (thank Ad for the last one!), but put him in the vicinity of even one other dog & he simply goes *mental*. I spent the first 15 minutes just trying to get his attention, I tried running away, waving in his face, making stupid embarrassing noises & bribing him with every treat at my disposal & a squeaky spanner but he just leant on the end of the lead & tried to sniff bums! The staff there kept saying helpful things like 'don't be disheartened - he's a boxer' & then getting him to sit for them!

Finally however I did manage to get him under control & he even performed a few tricks for some cheese. So I think we won't be following the same course as everyone else but simply trying to get him to repeat things he already knows in a room full of other dogs!

Tron also has his own webcam now! He's not always on there & a lot of the time he's sleeping, but when my new webcam arrives & I get it set up better there will be lots of hilarity to be observed. You can find him here
