Happy Skate Day

I just worked out that it's 6 weeks since me & Ad started skating. It's insane cause it feels like we've being doing it for months. I've now pretty much mastered all the individual things you have to do to be able to play on a team. There's still blocking & pack skating to learn but I'm pretty confidant I can get there in not too long.

Last week one of the guys loosened my trucks for me (the bit that allows you to turn). I was petrified at first but what difference! I've still got so much to learn in terms of technique and hardware, but Mooks is an awesome teacher yay!

It also looks like the Arcadia bunch will be forming their own league which is well exciting. I'm so attached to them all already as we've learnt together & I feel kind of honoured to be there for the birth of something so special.

I just wish every day was skate day!
