Over the past 4(ish) years the single most common search term that finds this blog is 'Ultimate Geek Activities'. If you search that in Google then it comes up with a page where I talk about cataloging my CD's (yes it was 2008!) I feel like I'm possibly letting down those people who actually want some Ultimate Geek Activities, so in honor of them I'm listing the most geeky activities I can think of. Please bear in mind I am not a furry & I do not frequent 4chan.
1. Dwarf Fortress. For genuine geek points play without the GUI. Also, you definitely need pictures of your fortress for posterity.
2. Learn some HTML. You could argue that learning Java or something is more geeky but then I would tell you that then you would be more employable & geek is niche so nur.
3. Watch UCTV lectures online. You can literally never know enough about string theory.
4. Catalog your books extensively. You definitely need to know what date you started reading Day of the Triffids
5. Feed your brain with some documentaries & learn about your brain at the same time.
